Hello!
The title tells you what I’m up to at the moment. I’m in the midst of teaching the Preserving Our Quilt Legacy workshop for 5 Saturdays, via Zoom. This time, I have 6 wonderful students! This does kind of take over my schedule for these few weeks, but it is always fulfilling and fun.
Here’s where I sit to teach. This is the set-up for a session of explaining the various tools and fabrics I like to use.

It’s pretty low-key, as far as video equipment goes. On the left end of the table is my one big purchase for this process - a ring light with phone/camera mount in the middle for showing bird’s eye view demonstrations. (brand - Canvas - no affiliation.) Another most important thing that my son, who knows about videos, told me about, is a “diffuser” so I don’t get harsh shadows and uneven lighting. Mine is a length of translucent fabric (given to me by my friend Martha Spark), handily hung with “high tech” (wink) bulldog clips on music stands. The other important thing you’ll note is a hard-to-miss sign reminding me to hit the Record button as I start.
Here are two other workshop process shots:
Kits with samples of needles, threads, and fabrics I like to use. These get mailed to each student.

A still from a video set that demonstrates all sorts of procedures.
